Hi I am looking into changing the backlights of my clocks in st170 I am wondering if they are LED or SMD ? Anyone know ? And also do the heater switches just pull out ?

yes mate the heater switches just pull off bit of a twat though

 

ordinary buld you can change to led.....

I bought everything to change all the dials and clocks and it's a right fuck on mate, not worth the hassle.

There's a guy on the focus forum will do everything for £50......he'll send you all the clocks, dials, heater control, headlamp switch, window switches and boot release.

Simply swap them and mail them back to him
