Default ST170 Head Lights

I've noticed the headlights on my ST have a funny cloudy finish to them. I was going to try glass polish, but doe's anyone know of a good way of cleaning the glass ?

Well I say cleaning, I mean cutting the glass back as this won't wash off.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I heard toothpaste works well as it contains silica. Just need a bit of elbow and maybe 5 - 10 minutes each side and buff off. Rinse / repeat as needed.
