Excuse my ignorance with the 4wd setup, I have only ever had 2wd and always pulled engines straight out from the top. Looking at the ford manual it shows the 4wd engine and box being dropped together from the bottom. Can you just drop the engine by itself, whats the easiest way? In fact come to that can you remove the sump with the engine still in the car. I have not even looked underneath a 4wd car yet so any advice is appriciated.
