Hi
I have been looking at a face lift Connect with a fault or combination of faults can anyone help.

1) It turns over on the starter but will not start.
2) Will start with a small bump start or using easy start.
3) When running the cog shaped warning light intermittently lights and the engine emits a heavy diesel knock and black smoke when revved.

Work carried out by the current owner to try and resolve the problem.
1) New filters
2) New Fuel Pipes
3) 1 Injector diagnosed as leaking replaced.
4) High pressure fuel pump replaced.
5) Battery replaced.

It is over fueling when running and knocking, once run and turned off it will not start using the starter motor.

It is the later face lifted model with the Siemens injection system.

Any ideas.
