Default Forf sierra 2.0I sohc

Hi i have just purchased this car and brought as a none runner due to a fuel pump fault. Apoarently :-/

Well their is no spark at any of the plugs. New ht leads. New plugs and still no spark.

I understand many things could be the verdict of this but im really hoping its not a ecu fault. Where should i try next? Ignition coil? Dizzy cap? Dizzy carbon? This car has been sat for 2 years. I would just like help with a few step by step things to check please. Its a D reg 4 speed auto 8v sohc injection

With air con and all the mod cons for the year

take dizzy cap and clean check hammer then see if you can borrow a coil also to try and see if yours is faulty.

First check the coil has power reaching it, does the fuel pump prime? It may well be that input to the ECU, i.e. CPS.

You can measure the voltage at the pins in the ECU, although I am not sure which ones this would be with your ECU, I have a manual that does though if you get stuck
