Anyone out there done a mk3 fiesta rs 2000 conversion??? Help needed with cooling system!! What radiator is the one I should use??

 

you need to use the rs one mate

 

Are you sure that will fit though as there really doesn't seem to be much space thanks

 

have you tryed puttin a rad in mate

 

my mate had a 1.6turbo h reg and he fitted an rs2k lump with the rs2000 rad

 

It's got what I beleive to be a saxo one in there at present but the header tank is built into rad and there is no overflow so the pipe that comes off top of thermostat housing has been blanked off now th rad has split and head gasket gone I've got new gaskets but need to get coolant issue sorted

 

What the origional escort rs 2000 rad??

That's what has puzzled me I brought it as a project but his seems to be botched everywhere I look. Grrrrrr I presume that's why it cooked up coz th overflow is blanked off and too much pressure caused th rad to split

 

none of the overflows should never be blanked off,thats why they called overflows lol,have you got a picture of your engine bay
