Mark and t.s. what could be done to a c.r t38 to make it produce better kg sq without increasing boost? Or is it just better to sell and find a gtx or the like? Just want better power without the huge boost pressures cheers.
Sorry for the hijack

alot will also depend on your engine specification and your budget if you want it fast and cheap just use the Ł860 T36 (these are brand new and have a billet compressor wheel) and std cosworth manifold
You could on the other hand spend 3 k on an manifold + turbo charger

SUrely a t36 is just a hybrid??
Has there been any testing done on different spec engines with dyno sheets to see where they work from and too, BP testing etc?

depends what you class as a hybrid Jimbo
the t36 has a turbo technics billet compressor wheel, a turbo technics turbine housing and a turbo technics compressor housing and a special garret turbine shaft and wheel and their own ceramic angular bearings
unlike most turbo builders turbo technics actually design and manufacture their own turbos and turbo parts
one could argue that an rs500 T04e is just a hybrid t3

Cool, are you able to share? As you know the 390-440bhp category is not very well catered for so this may be very good for alot of people

Ps would you like me to send this steering wheel for you tony?

We use a good turbo company thanks

There was no dummy out, it was a anti surge t4 and had no want to try it as there is IMO no need for anti surge housing but hey

This is the thing, this is on our zt engine t38 we are having to run 1.8bar to get the power we want, around 380/370 we know its a reliable turbo hence using it, but we would like same ish power with less pressure? So is it trade in time? And is a t36 going to achieve what we want,
Cheers fellas
