BOA 24v into a 2.0 capri.
Hi,
im about to start my project but i just need a bit of advice.
My car is a 2.0 capri.
i already have a complete boa engine and loom, 2.8 xmember and mounts, flywheel, standard 2.8 clutch, i also have 1 mt75 4x4 box and one mt75 2wd which im going to get converted.
i need to remove the old air con etc from the engine, so ill need a different aux belt, does anyone know which one?
i also need a spigot bearing does anyone know the ford part number?
also the capri had a mechanical speedo can my box be converted to manual drive?
also does anyone know how far out the gearbox mounts will be as my car is a 4 speed shell?
thanks

don't forget that you will need a new set of flywheel bolts as they are a different size and length even though they are the same pitch
get one for an xr4x4 2.9, much easier to get the right part ratehr than confuse the parts man with confusing questions about converting the car, they probably won't even believe that cosworth made a v6 engine from my experience
you may find that a different gearbox mount will line up and solve your problems for you
