fiesta st engine rattle?

Default fiesta st engine rattle?

hi all, i have a 05 ST with 58k on the clock ther is a rattle from around 2.5k revs when the engine is not under load, it sounds like a top end rattle as if a tappet is stuck or somthing, are these on hydro tappets & has anyone had a similar sounding rattle? thers a vid on youtube of someones rattle & its excat same as mine but doesnt say what it is.

it only seems to happen when it comes onto power cam if they still use them like that lol. below 2200rpm its fine after that when fethering accelerator it sounds like its knocking its tits out. under full load its fine aswell

I had one of these a few years ago that I bought brand new and within 13k miles it developed a similar noise that was diagnosed as a slipped tooth on the timing gear and a bill for £4500 was readily dispatched to frauds for a new engine
