In that case i would say the wiring is f**ked, the pump must be running non stop with ignition

am i correct in saying that if the relay terminals have been bridged it wouldnt prime?...i have owned the car for 5 years its never primed, i think the pump could be running a live from ignition as apposed the relay will have a look through it today....its intermittent pump turns off when it wants and does not respond at all

The inertia switch should be in a little flap behind the kick panel in the front passenger side footwell. Its quiet a big black box with if my memory serves me right a white plunger so it should stand out a fair bit down there.
I'd deffinatly have a look at your fuse box area if the relay isn't there some ones played funny buggers with it some where along the line.
If you take the kick trim off the drivers side you should be able to trace/follow where the fuel pump wires go to and see what the crack is with them.

found it and checked all wiring connections seem, found inertia switch and the white plunger was out i clicked it in it did not return allowing me to click it again, does this means it is now okay to run a relay and it should prime now i think
