hey guys. fitted stage 3 kit to my saph cos 4x4 last weekend. its on a t3 standard turbo. i have a strange noise im hoping someone may have come accross before. all was fine when setting the boost up untill i went over 20psi then a second after coming on boost i get a high pitched screech/squeal for a couple of seconds and then it shuts up higher up the rev range. i was worried i could have killed the turbo while setting up the boost up the dual carriageway though there is no smoke out the exhaust, no play in the turbo and it boosts strong as hell lol!. one of the chaps at my local rs meet said he thought it was the wastegate getting read of excess boost now that ive turned it up but im not so sure?? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, gary.
