Hello chaps,

I have bought a connect 04 tddi and in it is this little box just to the left of the steering wheel by the gear stick. there is also a wire attached to the gear stick too. I have absolutely no idea what it is..... it has buttons as you can see but i cannot tell if they do anything. its all wired in to something but for what purpose i know not!




Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sticky my Lad.
Welcome to the nut house by the way.
I wonder if there might be a battery connection in the bumper that is used to jump start cars like the AA/RAC vans have?? And the LED's are for battery levels I.e. red for too weak and green for good so to speak.

1.9 xr2 on 40's

unscrew it to see if there is an id lable or number on the rear, if not tape it up under the dash and forget about it
if you follow all the wiring you can see where they go and work it out from there
