Focus 1.6 Zetec SE (2002) Rough Idle & Hesitates Intermittently When Accelerating
Hi All, I currently own the above Ford Focus Mentioned.
I Purchased the vehicle in June 2012 and since then have noticed that on tickover the engine revs irratically like as if its hunting most of the time, also I have noticed that if i Try and accelerate hard its doesnt seem very responsive and when i do hit the High revs IE 4000rpm+ it sometimes goes spluttery and hesitates and also it will struggle to hit the limiter on occasions ? I'm Stumped With it
Fuel consumption doesnt seem good either or maybe thats my imagination 130 miles off £30 ??? surely that aint right lol
Sorry if i have totally confused anyone by the above post but I dont know how else to describe it.
I have changed, Plugs, Leads, coil pack, All filters, Fresh oil, Idle control Valve, PCV Hose,
I was just wondering if anyone has come across the same problem if so can they point me in the right direction rather than throw money in the wrong areas.
Kind Regards
Chris
