91mm Wiseco pistons for a YB
Hi all a bit engineering help here, i have a standard bore size 200 block, 90.8mm and a set of cosworth YB wiseco pistons to fit, the finished size of the block needs to be 91mm, ive taken it to our local automotive machine shop, he is unsure if it can be done, can the block be honed out < 0.20mm to give me the fished size bore?
STANDARD COSWORTH FINISHED BORE SIZE 90.82MM - 3.5755"
YB WISECO REQUIRES FINISHED BORE SIZE 90.99804 - 3.5826"
so the bores need to be 0.0071" bigger to take these pistons, so Thats 0.18034mm that needs to be removed from the bores,
piston to bore clearance is 030mm Thats as much as i know.
