Well my 1.8 focus head gasket went yesturday and going to be taking a look on my day off Friday. Think I'm going to find water in the bores and rather than hone bores would rather drop in a 2.0 lump.

Question is can I use the 1.8 flywheel and clutch and use the ib5 gearbox still?

I know the mtx75 gearbox is alot stronger but I'm not going for any high bhp/torque numbers so dnt see much point. The car is stripped out so weight is down. I will be fitting gsxr ITBs I have sitting in the garage and be getting a remap and using st170 injectors so nothing extreme.
