Default SportKA Battery Light

I have a 04 plate SportKa thats being rather naughty. Im from South Wales and moved to Sailsbury fora few weeks, after not starting my car for a week it was completley dead and not even a bump start was moving this bad boy. Having living with a mechanic at the time, sue to the noise my car was making it was thaught it was the stater motor.. Fixed this and my car started!! During my 115 mile trip home my battery light only appeared when i put my foot down or used my indicators, it was on alot of the time but didnt conk out.
3 months later, my car decided not to start at all.. Alternator had gone. Replaced this, yet the battery light was still on. Bought a brand new battery and still no use ! Had my dad look under my car and a wire leading to my alternator had corroded?? Apparently hes fixed this but my light is still on! Really baffling us..
Its not the relay or a fuse weve managed to cross them off the list!
Having putting my car on the computer its coming up as no fault? Could it be that corroded wire and it will need replacing???

Sorry for the essay! I like to babble!
