Stalls\hesitating engine
Hello guys!
I have a '87 Orion 1.4 Ghia, CVH engine, webber double venturi carburettor.
My problem is this, sometimes while accelerating, the car hesitates. Also can hesitate with constant speed.
And then, if I put it in neutral, sometimes it will stall, so I have to engage again a gear to bring it back to life.
If I have teh car parked, in neutral, and rev it up, it will stall again.
Today I refueled it with 98RON fuel, pushed it in 3rd gear at 120km\h (75 mph) for 20kms at more than 5000rpm, pulled some 2nd gears at 6000 for 30 seconds, but still the same... So not sure if is something dirty or vacuum...
But this doesn't seem to happen if I pull the choke, the rpm's wont go down to 0.
My full choke idle engine speed is around 2000rpm, with the engine hot (needle in the middle and fan running)
My normal idle speed is between 800, 900 rpm with the fan running
