Default Light and electric mirror problem

Right this is a long winded problem so I hope it makes sense

My interior light fuse has blow since stripping my sierra for its repaint but now I'm on the build up I've found that my electric mirrors do not work

When I put a fuse in the interior fuse place my n/s indicator come on not flash but solid light up and when I move my mirror switch the drivers side mirror clicks but does not move no matter what side it's put to even set in the middle it clicks

Any help on problem?

I would say that due to the paint, earth points are no longer a good connection

Electricity will always take the path of the least resistance, so if you have a bad earth connection it will take another route, i.e via the indicators it may be in your case.

Again, the mirror may not be able to draw the power it needs, for the same reason (Assuming there isn't a problem with the mirror)

Martin
