Default none starter yb

will someone help.....i have put a yb into a mk1 escort and it will not START i have a good spark,fuel pressure (cossie pump not a cheap far east one) cranks over well but the plugs are bone dry !!!!!

have you checked for power to the injectors?

remove the plug from the injectors and check for 12v with ignition on,the earth is pulsed to fire the injector.

im unsure,the ecu switches the earth not the live feed.

ok cheers,i have done the conversion before with no problems,it started first flick,but this one has been a pain from start ,cheers

just checked the injectors and have no voltage (0.20)..what now the world ???

You need to check you've got power to the ecu,also check that all your sensors are plugged in and gapped corectly

The OE setup powers the injectors via the ECU relay, so long as they have a switched 12V + supply, as said the ECU switches the ground.
