A little brake question
At the moment I am building my 2.0 dohc cossie rep
I am using 4x4 cosworth running gear at the rear I'm just wondering wil 2wd calipers fit 4x4 hub and will 4x4 calipers fit my 2wd front hubs
So Basicly will all calipers fit all hubs?
Thanks

No, 4x4 may well do as they were just simple sliding affairs like found on other models, the 2WD however has unique 4 pots which I believe will only fit the Cosworth 2WD hubs, also the offset is different, hence why you can't fit 2WD front brakes to 4x4.
Dependent on the current braking system currently fitted it may not be man enough to operate the 4 pots either.

The rear brakes are the same as lesser models, but obviously they have bigger discs (273MM) and 4x4 are vented and so have different calipers but you can interchange the two.
Yes so far as I know re the fronts and Cosworth 2WD hubs that would be the easiest way in terms of fitment but then you need to consider the physics, as I say.
