Ignition advance probs/ how to find out level car tuned too?
Hi
Can anyone assist me. I bought a project in bits 3 yrs ago just put it on rollers last week and the ignition timing is not advancing as you go up the revs.
I know the ecu controls this but what tells the ecu?
As I said I'm new to he car and do not know what it can do how do I identify the ecu chip? What it is programmed to do? And what level injectors are fitted.
Has db10 cams, light blue injectors, vernier pulleys.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Going by the brief spec you,ve rebuilt a cossie.
To find the chip identity take the ecu apart .Some ECU,s are written on but personally i,d still check the chip itself. If an author of the chip is available they should be able to provide the chips exact spec and make sure it is for your engine spec.
