Default 6 deg beams

I know the people that make them have put a lot of time and r&d into making them but would it be really that hard to fabricate one?!

From what I can tell the inner mounts are extended and inner arm is cut off and a new longer arm is welded in place the the outer bush is cut off and a rose joint is placed instead, if you decide to rose joint it.......

I've got a spare rear beam and someone I know who used to work with me (at Mclaren) is a good engineer and welder so really tempted to have a go at fabricating one........

Some types require you to cut out under the beam for arm clearance too Tony. But just remember, you only need to be a bit out, and you've got a ditch finder, worse than before

Thats what i'd be worried about lol, could buy one but then i dont really have 1k spare lying about to get one!!

Just be good to fabricate one and seems logical enough but obviously know it has to be done right

So what alignment settings should you be shooting for with a 6deg beam rear end? Just a performance street car on street tyres so dont need big neg to load up the tyre face
