My Escort RS wont start for love nor money!
i got no spark past the coil check everything i can think of
when i carry out the test lamp test on the coil it doesnt do the flashing/pulsing it just stays on, what does this mean is at fault?

That the coil is not getting switched, check the green wire this most likely has broken, that or the "module" has gone that sits on the dizzy.

That is I am assumeing you are connecting the light to the ground (Green wire)
