Zetec starter onto cvh engine

Zetec starter onto cvh engine
Have been told today that its a straight fit?
Is there a certain starter i need?
To fit on a 1.6 efi. Been told there smaller then the cvh ones so won't be as close to the downpipe!

hi mate yes your starter will fit straight onto your car i have fitted 16v starter mortors to cvh engines and cvh to zetec 16v and never had a problem with them both are the same size 100%

Was told the zetec ones are smaller? Which is what i want as won't be so close to the downpipe then.

no they are all the same size and as i said i have never had any trouble in the past with them
