Erst fuel pump
Hi folks, do these pre fuel pump filters work?
i think my bosch pump is dying as on top end its leaning off.
Voltage to the pump is fine.
Think it my have rust in it from the tank.

Has the filter been changed recently?
No, what you have is x power at the pump at the point where you tested it, likely to be when idleing?
It's when the pump is load it can not always get the power it needs due to old wiring, I am not sure if this weak point applies to ERST but it is a weak point on Cosworths!
It of course might be something unrelated.

No, what you have is x power at the pump at the point where you tested it, likely to be when idleing?
It's when the pump is load it can not always get the power it needs due to old wiring, I am not sure if this weak point applies to ERST but it is a weak point on Cosworths!

Pump (uprated bosch) & filter(genuine) has done a 1000 miles, then went for a set up on the rollers.
The car was going lean on top end thats when they checked the pump
but all was good. I think there may be crap in the system, i was just going to
replace the pump & filter again thats when i came across those pre fuel pump
filters but dont know if there any good/work.
