Thumbs down Problem with Ford Connect Van Starting

Hi all,

my 12v socket fuse blew the other day. So today i changed it with a new one. It now works but the van will not start. When i turn the key i get absolutely nothing, no noise whatsoever! all that happens is the immobiliser light starts flashing furiously??

it is not a problem with the battery as i can still turn radio/heater/lights on etc...

also i can still ock/unlock doors with key, but just cant get the engine to start!! please help! i am stuck at work if i cant get it to start.

Pull the fuse out and see if it starts?

I don't know but if it was fine before, you changed the fuse and now it won't start it won't hurt to pull it out.

there is also a fuse for the starter under the bonnet somewhere

we've had this issue with one of our vans and it was the fuse with a dodgy contact
