Default Wasted Spark Questions/ Thanks :D

FAO Guys at MSD little help.

Just in the process of fitting my MSD Wasted spark kit and I have come to a few little snags.

Firstly the HT leads are not sitting right in the coil. I am pushing them in sooooo hard that I will put a hole (lol) in my wheel arch, if I push any harder and they just would sit in. They do a bit, but honestly a baby's little finger could pull them out it's that easy even with the little clips that come on/with them.

Also I am at the stage where I need to start cutting and putting the old coil wiring away.
The suppresor, that is the black bit (arrowed) on the 2 green wires in the pic below isn't it??
Once I have removed it do I put those 2 wires going into it together?????

The other 2 wires with the crimps on that go to the coil, I'll cut back seal of with adhesive heat shrink.

Yes, plug the two bullets in to each other and bin the plastic part.
Tuck the old ford wiring up out the way.

As for the plug leads, they are very tight, but the way i do it is to push the clip back off the lead, then plug the lead into the coil, and slide the clip back over. They will fit.

Thanks James mate.

Got it back today before 1pm which is absolutely ideal, as I all of a sudden have to go off for work for a month as of tomorrow, so it has tied in all nicely.

1st class service again from you guys.

Look forward to putting it in and getting the cossie going again once I am back.

cheeRS.

Ben.
