Default Fuel pressure

Would i be right in thinking the fuel pressure should be 2.8 to 3.0 bar on my W reg mondeo 2.0 zetec blacktop and at which point in the fuel system would be best to check this, i have a power boost valve on with the gauge on it but would prefer to double check as i dont trust the gauge reading.

I would ditch the "Boost valve" straight away!

Usually it's checked with a gauge at the rail, not sure on the pressure for your car but I should think what you said would be the very most it should be!

Sometimes the readings are given with the vacuum line disconnected as well!
