Default 2wd Saph, Heater blower not working?

I put a stereo in the saph and since then the heater blowers dont work.

Checked the fuse..... Fine.

Checked the plug on the back of the switch..... Fine.

Do you think it could be coincidence that the switch has packed up at the same time I fitted the stereo?

Doing my head in now as its getting colder.

Help me please

the switch could have packed up but there are a lot of wires int he back to check so the switch is the easiest one to go for

the other thing to check is the actual wiring to the fan as this has been known to get worn over time

have you tried to get the fan to run by applying power directly to it? it's not seized is it?

It was working perfectly before so it seems a bit weird that it would stop working as i fitted the stereo.

I havent tried putting power directly to the fan so ill try that. I doubt its seized though as it was working perfectly before.

So annoying! Thanks for the help though
