i got light come on dash pic of battery i believe its ignition warning light so my book says. anyone had this problam? also i read other posts about error codes coming up where do they show up in car? and whats the so called dash trick?

 

That's a warning that the alternator isn't charging the battery. Check with a meter what voltage you are getting across the battery. Forget the dash trick, it's useless and irrelevant, it only displays dash fault codes, not actual engine dtc's.

 

ok thanks where do dtc things show up on dash? i keep hearing bout them. and are you saying i need fix alternator to new one
