Default 1.8 Zetec Ka Problems

Any ideas why it would be cutting out when you rev it ?

The engine is from a 1.8 Focus.

Runs fine otherwise.

Cuts out when you come off the throttle and the revs drop back down?? Or cuts out as you press the throttle??

Umm, unless your on custom management you won't have a MAP sensor. Does it happen if you accelerate gently? Sounds like you under fueling on initial accel.. More than likely tps.
