i sold a dump valve on ebay to someone and he is telling me that it is
leaking can thay leak or not it was on my car and running fine
he sent me these 2 e mail's

he said in first e mail

hi, soz havent got straight back to you, been abit busy, it came thursday morn' picked it up from post office this morning, fraid to say i'm not totally satisfied as its leaking slighgtly and has buggered my tickover up, had to adjust the mixture ro stop it stalling, now the exhaust is licking flames. any surgestions would be much apreciated.

seriously mate, its leaking. you can hear it and see that the rubber seal part inside is not seating fully down. My last dump valve did the same thing, hence buying another.

if thats the case why was this o.k on my car

what do you think i should do give him his money back or
tel him it was fine when i had it and i cant do anything
about it

What make and type of DV is it?

yea they can leak mate, common on rst's, but for 2 to leak on the same motor, may be a problem with his motor.
