My first post, so here goes.....

I have 2.0l blacktop Zetec E. It is running on throttle bodies and an emerald ecu - I am getting about 160bhp.

I have just bought a ported and polished head and am looking to put some highlift cams in it but they all seem to be at a crazy price - £400+ for burton or piper new.

I am aiming primarily for acceleration rather than top end. Can someone point me at some reasonable priced stage 2 (if that would be best?) camshafts please?

You've got a couple other companies, Kent Cams or Newman Cams, I'm not sure what there prices are like though as never used them before

Most company's stage two cams will require uprated valve springs which is going to cost you another £150 or so on top.

You could go for Crower stage 1's, they don't need uprated valve springs and are a mid range cam so they won't give you a huge hike in power but will liven things up below 6000rpm...

CFM have a great reputation and will export. $367 is £222 at today's exchange rate, don't forget to add shipping and 20% VAT on top.
