Default sorry not a ford but my audi problem

hi peps sorry not a ford but a 1998 audi A6 2.8 problem it drives ok but when i move the accelerator up and down you can see and feel the gearstick move judder itis also grinds if you put it into 1st gear when the car is just moving very slightley could this be a worn engine or gearbox mount.

I say throttle body lever... check this first is easier

check the lever, you remove the debimeter and the airbox and see if pulling the ironwire of the accelerator manually (not on the car but with ur hands) giving a look to the throttle it opens smoothly or if it has some problems like delay... that could be caused by the hub that should be upper...

The 2.8 boxes have a common problem with first gear wheel, chips usually and casues a grinding in first gear only. Will drive like this still for a while thou, then rebuild or replace.

The snub mount is also best to upgrade for the movement, but check all mounts also.
