Default Hesitation at low revs

Getting hesitation at low revs in my 1.8 mk1 focus (120k miles). It happens in all gears more so in everything other than 1st..
If for example im piddling along at 1000-1500 rpm and put the throttle down to little less than half way it misfires.

Now im not sure whether im just suddenly eco- driving and this happens at low revs normally. but its freaking annoying.

The air filter is new so its not got anything to do with air. Replaced coil pack too.

Whats everyone else thinking? Lambda? Plugs? MAF?
