hi guys got a noisey rear wheel bearing on my focus im going to do them both ,when i undo the big nut are then handed left turn to undo ,and when i pull the drum off im i likey to leave half the bearing stuck to the shaft (well the inner runner ) cheers karl

 

I had to cut my drums off as there was such a bad lip on them.
But the bearing come off whole. Easy enough to push a new bearing in using a vice

 

wind the handbrake off first using the adjuster nut next to the handbrake. they are regular lefty loosey righty tighty.then pull the drum off, it might be a C**T to get off. to get the bearing out, I used the top of a axle stand and a 7lb sledge hammer. then pop the new one in using the old bearing and a vice.

 

iv already bought new drums and the bearing, iv put them in just wanted to no really if any of you guys that have done this job that the drum and bearing have come off in 1 piece and the inner sleve as not got stuck to the stub axel cheers karl
