Took it for a trip to tescos earlier just me and the boy and noticed the temp gauge didn't go up it's a 5 mile trip when I got there I checked coolant and that was fine on way back I noticed it seems to go up when I go round right hand bends and when I went round a roundabout it was in the red :-( any ideas

check sender wire & conection to sender earth sender wire gauge should go all way up if gauge is good should be about it

The gauges are inaccurate when working properly! Probably the sender I should think.
