Default Cossie oil change

Gonna give the saph an oil change tonight 1st time I've ever done 1 any do's donts I also have an oil cooler so what's the score with draining this and does it need to be primed also does it matter weather oil is hot or cold plus am I right in thinking filter has to be primed and how many liters should I be looking at putting in not including oil cooler

Nothing special, as with any engine the oil should be hot as the oil is thinner and thus will drain easier, also once draining remove the filler cap as well, if you haven't already make sure you have the right filter as they are different between 2WD and 4x4.

Never prime mine, just refill and start up, you could always pull the king lead etc if wanting to turn over first to get the new oil circulating but I don't see the point personally!

Oil capacity is 3.5 litres from memory, can't remember if that is excluding or including filter!

i used to leave mine to drain overnight
just keep the sump plug with the keys!

All done and started fitting new skirt clips my god it makes a difference the skirts are solid now 3 fitted only another god knows how many to go then to fit the new diff mount
