Default turbo repaire kits

does anyone know how difficult it is to survice your turbo with a service kits ie new seals new bearings

you carnt you need speclist tools get hold of universal turbos they done mine top job cheap and i quick turn around time bell them on 01425471421

yes you can... Stu @MSD on here sells the kits, but really you need to get the core balanced properly afterwards.

if you use the old compresser nut an mark turbine shart
to compresser wheel to the nut you can do it your self
i have done it a few time's

its actually very easy to fully service you turbo , ive done prob 10 , all kits from MSD, the biggest arse ache is trying to remove seized studs from the housings , you WILL need to heat most of them up !, fitting the kit is very easy, specially as all garret parts are individually balanced

just to put your mind at rest , i built one a while back that eat the thrust in about 50miles i thought WTF , so i took it to a local turbo geezer who checked the balance and it was fine WELL within spec , was something other than the kit that had failed. so new kit and has been fine since !
