Default Those little bulbs

Hi, I own a ford mondeo mk2 with the digital ac controls. The problem is that one of the bulbs have blown and after an hour of work to get to the bulb I find that ford no longer make the bulb. Does anyone know any where to get the bulb? or another bulb to fit and does any one know the part number?

Thanks

Dan

Got a piccie you can post up ?, it will almost certainly be a wedge/capless bulb, it won't be a ford specific bulb, so dead easy to get cheaply for pence, can get bulbs of all manner when you know where to look, including one off bulbs made to order(fantastically expensive), even where really rare a alternative solution can always be found.

Does the bulb come out of the holder? If it does, go 2 ne local motor spares shop, ask 4 a 286 or 504 (a smaller wattage version of a front side light bulb) bulb or if it doesnt come out the holder, u'll have 2 take the bulb in with you'll but ne decent motor spares shop shud b able 2 match the bulb

I assume it's just the plastic twist to lock bulholder, of late ford has been using soldered in bulbs, these are the exact same bulbs as the non soldered in ones, only the soldered ones have the wires on the capless wedge bulbs bent down and are then soldered with spot solder machine.
You can resolder some wedge bulbs in the holder, of another option is to get earlier bulb holders, exactly the same but they don't use the soldered in bulbs.
