1.8 CVH turbo conversion

1.8 CVH turbo conversion
Hi All
Im new to ford engines and dont know much about them so I have a few questions about the 1.8 Sierra CVH engine and the 1.6 turbo engine.
Are the ports on the head the same as the 1.6 CVH turbo engine so I could use the RS turbo manifold etc ?
If not would I be better off swapping the 1.6 CVH onto the block and any idea how compression would be effected ?
Any help appreciated.
