I'm after a more oem looking exhaust and ideally, cat. I've spoken to Ford and local exhaust manufacturers for advice who said they wouldnt have a clue about my car. Mountune made it clear a while back they'd only give technical info if the car was at their workshop, which is a huge hike away.
It's currently a turbo back de-cat system with 1 box. Would a ST170 likely be a straight swap or a mk1 FRS? The exhaust itself is fine but just not really to my taste.
I just would prefer not to pay £700+ for a full system ideally if I can get a good condition used one, or even swap mine with someone who'd like a decatted exhaust.

Thing is, I am considering upping my power towards the 250 to 300bhp mark so don't know what to do.

 

For around £300 you can get a custom made on your car fitted exhaust system, so no need to pay £700, many custom places around.
