ok had some issues with the car wandering pulling right on the road changed some tyres over as a stop gap i have just put 2 new tyres size 215 40 r17 on the front and i still have 215 45 r17 on the back i was getting a droning sound when turning left or right from the front but it is more prominent now that i have changed tyres sizes any ideas as to what to check the droning is quite loud now i have had a new wheel bearing and bottom ball joint on the o/s done would a wheel bearing cause this when turning both ways what should i check?

 

Hi pal the bast way to check jack up the front end and give the wheels a wiggle and see if you have any play it could just be road noise tough hope you get it sorted mate

 

thanks will do does running diffrent sizes cause any problems ive got 215 45 17s on the back and 215 40 r17s on the front all brand new got anothe 215 40 17 to get then got all 4 going to do that at the end of the month also car makes droning sound at low speeds as when turning a junction left or right really loud how do u diagnose a bad driveshaft its almost like a rubbing sound
