i have a silver top and rst turbo gearbox with the correct flywheel and clutch. question is does the mk3 have a gearbox carrier? the car is a 1.1 and have been told i need 1.6 hubs, driveshafts and brakes and was under the impression i need a gearbox craddle but im now confused as the mk3 and mk4 have different mounts looking on vibra technics and my gearbox is of unknown origin.

also can anyone advice on the modification to the engine mount? i keep hearing it needs one but i have never seen any pictures? is it just a redrilled hole on the car?
