Righto, I've got the key receiver thingy, the key and corresponding ECU from a dead Mk6 escort.
Happy days?
Well, no.
I had to cut the key sensor ring thingy out - the scrappy dude was literaly about to cube the car (I'd robbed the other bits earlier) so no time to do it nicely.

The delimna: the sensor has four BLACK wires coming out of its plug. That is all. No colours, no key stripes.
Err... does anyone have a pinout for the connector/plug???

Thats the most help I've had on this topic so far, after asking on many forums and beating the piss out of google on the subject.

I dont suppose you have a key for the number codes mean on that diagram?

Also, if its not asking too much, the transceiver has four wires on the diagram, as it does in real life. I can read a number '2' I dont suppose you know the numbers of the other three wires? I cant make them out.

Using your diagram I can at least isolate which wires from the loom I need to use. It looks like only three go to the ECU and no2 is either earth or warning light?
