mk4 carb
In short, NO, your car has a 32DFT, a ace carb and much better performance wise than the later "eco" carbs with vac secondarys.
If you need a carb it is also fitted to the mk1 and mk2 xr2, there is a version fitted to the fiesta 1300, but it is a smaller venturi version being 2 x 22mm, as opposed to your 24 and 25mm.
Do you have a issue with your carb ?

The car is running rough cuts out if i dont rev it i have to brake with my left foot and rev with the right to keep it going which isnt good . I have had 2 mechanics look at il they havnt solved the problem . i was thinking of changing the carb as i thought that may solve it
. The car is fine when a accelarate pulls fine
As tabs sad the carb will be to small to gone on, from what you've said it sound like you've an idle issue..will the car tick over atall once of choke or does it just stop and fire up again?. If so i suspect your ISCV is fubard or unplugged

It sounds very much like the car, or at least a fuelling fault, which can be caused by things other than the carb.
You could put a new carb on and have exactly the same problem still along with the new one, a empty wallet!!
These really are the most basic carbs going.
Running rough ?, does it idle at the correct speed, either hot or cold, is it different when hot or cold symptom wise ?
It could be something as silly as the idle speed needs raising, a vacuum(inlet) leak, even a weak fuel pump can cause this, but be ok when accelerating as there is more pressure from a faster running engine.
The idle speed should be 750-850rpm(hot), and cold on choke 2600-2800rpm.
There are 3 diaphragms in this carb, 2 of which will defo cause what you have, but need more info, especially is it the same hot and cold, there is also a anti dieseling valve fitted to most of these, it could just need richening up, more detail needed.
It's an excellent carb if in good order ace on fuel and good power so worth fixing.
Does the exhaust smell rich, what colour are the plugs, should be light/ish brown.

They were in their 50's . it runs rough hot and cold . I have changed the fuel pump but still the same . Im not using the car at the moment and when i went to start there was no fuel passing the fuel filter i had to drop a bit of petrol staight into the carb to get it going if that helps . the exhaust does smell a bit .
