Most likely a wrong chip then.
What type of ecu is it? L1, L6, L8, P8? Check: http://bigturbo.co.uk/main1.htm
Who manufactured the chip? Maybe add a photo?

LOL then it's not the chip it should be if that at all, the chip is a rectangular shape and has alot of legs, this simply sits in a socket on the PCB and then the cover screws in via 4 screws.

Well what help do you want then if thats what happens?
Either cut a hole in the lid or get another chip, i'd be going for the later personally.
Surprised Stu would supply something that doesnt fit, there must be some misunderstanding somewhere I would think. Phone him tomorrow.

Hi i got Stewart Sanderson to help me out and he was very helpful. I have a gt35 turbo with external wastegate big intercooler and radiator and this what he told me to get and i did. I trust him 100%. See what you think.
Ok, top of my head, If I were to take a standard YB and make it suitable for your turbo and 400+BHP I would lower the compression to 7.8:1 with pocketed pistons, fit a 3 port breather system, ported head and cometic headgasket. Then we would fit an uprated intercooler and radiator, finally, you’re ready to bolt on these parts:
Necessities:
BD 16 inlet cam.
Double valve springs so we can rev her to 8000rpm.
New followers BECAUSE we are going to rev her to 8000rpm
Plenum spacer to improve airflow through the inlet trumpets.
Bosch 044 pump and adaptor to fit direct to your car.
Engine & gearbox mounts to stop movement wrecking your DS joints.
3 bar map sensor:
83lb injectors
Dump valve: (necessity for GT series turbos)
Chip to your own spec

Hi he is in Blackpool and im in west sussex long way to go. Do you think i should do the con rods to. And is there a good and a bad valve set. Also looking for a complete gasket set. Could you help me with this.

Yes there are good and bad valves, good condition original ones are a very good option as they are high quality in the first place.
I'd do the drive if I were you, its worth it to get the car running right.
Standard rods should be fine if they are in good condition.
Get a WRC gasket, not worth messing around with anything else now they have come down in price.
Martin hadland is normally good for prices on those IIRC
