ive seen a cossie run without on is this easy to do

just unplug it.

can be a bit rough starting up when cold tho

it can be done then bae idle is the the large screw under the throttle body.

yes the prcedure is to have the car running , iscv plugged in , then unplug ,and set idle speed , it must be done in a certain amount of time , something like 30seconds , then you have to re plug back in and hold the revs for a while , then do it again , cant remeber it all tbh, i dont even have an idle valve


for yours if its stalling i would remove the plug off the iscv, unwind the screww approx 1 turn and see if the car will start and idle , repeat till car will idle, then plug in iscv hold revs ( approx 2000rpm ) let idle , remove plug off valve , no change in revs should occur- base idl ok

all must be done with engine ta normal operatingtemp

my car sometimes idels way low?
like 500 rpm then picks itself back up....think the base idle is wrong?

warm the car up, unplug the iscv and set the base idle to 850 rpm. plug the iscv back in and the revs shouldn't move

spoke to ava today nd they confirmed this is the correct way to tune up your idle....how many other cossie are idleing badly and dont how to fix it....give this a try cos mine now idle sweet as a nut just over the thousand!
