I went over a huge pothole the other day in the saff and it cut out, not starting for about 15 mins.

Now the same keeps happening at random......what the fcuk is this and how can i solve it?

I assumed at first it was the fuel cut off (cos it had been such a big thud) but it cant b if its just doin it randomly now....anyone???

check all engine earths and battery connections,specially ecu feed from battery(black fuse link wire tends to corrode),if not may be a loose or faulty phase or crank sensor.Also check live feed to coil-regards PJ.

 

Dave, try replacing or borrowing a crank position sensor. Mine did this on and off for a month or two after i got it. Was a real bitch. Ended up borrowing most of the engine sensors, and it ended up being the cps. My one had gone all stiff and brittle. It ended up that it wouldn't even start, so it was obvious once it was changed out. They're only about £28.
