Default cosworth fans current pull?

going to rewire the fans on my sierra as one is not hooked up and one is and probably only is because the fuses kept blowing...

anyway just wanted to know which relay to use or relays and what current rating of wire and what fuse i should put in line...

from spst relays i have found i have a choice of either 12v 70a or 12v 40a

have two of each and was going to use one for the fuel pump and then one or two if needed for the fans so each has its own power supply and also i suppose if one gos for a bollock there is still another fan for back up...probably have a few more of each relays kicking about as spares so if i need three of one type i will have...

let me know please

cheers

40 amp will be fine for the fans, 1 relay will do both, some like to fit 1 relay to each fan, up to you, but current draw is much less than 40 amps once running.
I would use something like 28/030 cable for the main power, it 30(battery to relay) and 87(output to fans), and of course same gauge for earth on the fans.
